MERIDIONAL
is a Swiss non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing international cooperation and solidarity. By partnering with governments and civil society, particularly from the Global South (the Global Majority), we work to support and strengthen their impact within International Geneva.
Our mission is rooted in the values of the Geneva Republic and Canton’s Constitution, the United Nations Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, guiding our efforts to foster a more inclusive and equitable multilateral system.
MERIDIONAL cultivates synergistic relationships between diverse stakeholders, including diplomatic missions from United Nations Member States, intergovernmental organisations, civil society bodies, academic institutions, private sector, and philanthropic organisations.
Our collaborations extend across key multilateral thematic domains, including public health, humanitarian disarmament, environment, human rights, digital governance, and international humanitarian law. By bridging gaps and amplifying collective expertise, we strengthen effective engagement in global decision-making processes.

MERIDIONAL seeks to strengthen the humanistic and solidarity-driven spirit of International Geneva, envisioning a world where international collaboration flourishes, fostering unity, equality, and shared progress.
In this vision, International Geneva and other diplomatic hubs become inclusive spaces for civil society, with nationals from all regions, in particular from the Global South, actively engaging in fair and cooperative multilateral diplomacy.
